Have you ever been in a design review where the user data pointed to A from the A/B test and the conclusion was to go with version C?

Funnily enough, C never came up before. Where did it come from? Other people in the room with bias (that we all have), empirical experiences, constraints the people in the call don't even know about (investor expectations, shareholder opinions...).
